Lolita Collective is having a sale this weekend and offering free domestic shipping on all items in their store from September 3-6. Lolita Collective is super responsive to questions via email or on social media. They also have an awesome return policy! I know I’ll be ordering a few items and taking advantage of their sale.
Here are some ideas for 4 lolita coordinates you can order and have a complete coordinate for under $150. These coordinates don’t include petticoat, shoes, or purses, but they’re a great start if you’re looking to dip your toe into the fashion or if you’re looking for new pieces for your wardrobe. I also think that all of these have room for more accessories or different style, so be sure to look at all the stock Lolita Collective has.
Please note: the Lolita Collective features indie brands from all over the world. Some of these items ship from their designers directly, so double check the listing when you’re purchasing.
At home with ghosts
Total cost: $147
This coordinate uses an understated main piece and relies on these Haunted House tights from Violet Fane for it’s point of interest. I went with a velvet head bow to invoke Victorian vibes, which I think would look great with straight long hair or an elegant updo. I finished it out off with a velvet choker and spooky Victorian inspired earrings from Mossbadger.
Country Bunny
Total cost: $149
I wanted to go for a country style coordinate. I think this print could also go more sweet or more classic, so this would be a great piece that could be styled multiple ways. To evoke a more country vibe, I went for this gingham blouse and straw bonnet. A handkerchief trimmed in lace would also look great and could easily be DIY’d. I associate knit/crochet socks with country, so I got these cute socks with lace detailing. For wrist accessories, I went with these lace gloves to echo the lace on the socks. And since we’ve got bunnies on the prints, I used this cute bunny pin!
Over the Moon
Total cost: $149
A. Gato Design’s skirt comes in a couple different sizes with different price points, so I opted for the $80 design without pockets to build this coordinate. Since this is a skirt, you can keep your blouse untucked to show off the cute details at the hem. With that in mind, I chose this Xilia blouse. You could also opt for a belt or corset with a skirt coordinate! These sheer socks will look pretty with gold or navy shoes. Given that this skirt has a moon print, I accessorized with this Lulu Van Hoagland pin and topped it off with a simple blue bow. I think this print would look great with royal accessories too, like crowns or halos (which A. Gato Designs have on their website).
Blue never looked so good on you
Total cost: $150
This coordinate is probably the least polished, but I wanted to show ideas for a one piece. This one piece from Amastacia has really gorgeous details, including a stunning neckline. I think this would look best with an elegant updo or a low side ponytail with curls and the delicate butterfly clips. Alternative, I think it would look lovely with a satin ribbon. The sheer socks would look great with a pair of white, gold, or light blue shoes. In keeping with the nature theme, I accessorized with this pin from Cottonbook.
